Terms of Service

FutureName turns your voice into written documents using automated transcription and formatting. We provide the service "as is" and work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee transcripts will be error-free, so always review important documents.

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Account settings.

New accounts include a 7-day trial with full access (60 minutes of audio). When the trial ends, transcription access stops until you subscribe. We don't require a card for the trial.

Pro and Ultra subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless stated. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires.

Usage allowances (minutes per month) reset each billing cycle and don't roll over.

Don't use the service to process content you have no right to use, to violate privacy or law, to attempt to disrupt or probe the service, or to resell access without written agreement. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

You retain all rights to the audio and transcripts you create. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service. We don't use your content to advertise or sell it to third parties.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that point means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
